PAS Cargo Guyana's in-house team of licensed customs brokers manages every aspect of your import and export documentation, ensuring full compliance with GRA regulations and international trade requirements.
Provide your commercial invoice, packing list, and Bill of Lading or Air Waybill. We review your documents and advise on any additional permits or licences required.
Our licensed brokers prepare and lodge your Customs Entry (C72) with the Guyana Revenue Authority, ensuring accurate tariff classification and applicable duty calculations.
GRA may examine your cargo. Our team coordinates the examination process, responds to authority queries, and ensures your shipment moves through smoothly.
Once assessed, we advise on all applicable duties, taxes, and fees. We facilitate timely payment and work to expedite the clearance process.
On receiving clearance approval, cargo is released from the port or terminal. We coordinate collection, delivery coordination, or handover to your designated carrier or warehouse.
To begin the customs clearance process, clients are required to provide the following supporting documents. Additional permits or certificates may be required depending on the nature of the cargo.
Issued by the supplier or exporter, showing value, quantity, and description of goods.
Itemised list of goods in each package — weight, dimensions, and contents.
Transport document issued by the carrier confirming receipt of cargo for shipment.
Prepared by PAS Cargo on your behalf and lodged with the Guyana Revenue Authority.
Where required by the relevant regulatory authority for specific goods categories.
Required for perishables, agricultural products, food items, and pharmaceuticals.
Additional permits based on cargo type — weapons, chemicals, controlled substances, and other restricted goods require specific authorisations.
The C72 is the Guyana Revenue Authority's standard customs entry form used for all imports and exports. It records the details of the shipment — cargo description, value, origin, tariff classification, and applicable duties. PAS Cargo prepares and lodges this on your behalf.
Clearance times vary based on cargo type, documentation completeness, and GRA workload. A well-documented standard shipment typically clears within 1–3 business days. Incomplete documentation or cargo selected for physical examination may take longer. Our team works to expedite clearance at every stage.
At minimum: a commercial invoice, packing list, and your Bill of Lading (ocean) or Air Waybill (air). Depending on the goods, import/export licences, health certificates, or other regulatory permits may also be required. Contact our team early and we will advise on your specific requirements.
